Boo!-ty Shakin’ Haunted Playlist
It’s finally October, which means that all the Halloween fans out there can now safely stock up on candy corn and put up some spooky decorations without sitting through the eye-rolling “it’s not even October yet, why have you already planned your costume” comments of those who have somehow not yet embraced the intoxicating magic that is All Hallow’s Eve. But, for those of us who truly understand the allure of all things macabre, there’s nothing quite like the anticipation for the best holiday ever!
But, for the best holiday ever, Halloween is lacking in something kinda important: while a certain holiday has a full-blown soundtrack accompanying it every year, the Halloween music catalog is relatively sparse. Sure, “Thriller” is pretty on-point, but beyond that, what is there? You can only listen to “Monster Mash” so many times until you want to graveyard smash something yourself!
So, behold as I present to you, with great excitement, the official playlist to ring in Halloween Month! Some stuff is eerie, some stuff is just plain fun, but all of it is bound to get you in the trick-or-treating mood.
Special thanks goes out to Megan Lent and Cats Meow for putting this list together!!!
